Psychological Assessment Services
for children and adolescents ages 5-18
Our psychological assessment process begins with a free initial consultation, which helps determine whether psychological testing is appropriate and recommended.
Diagnostic Assessments
The diagnostic assessment is typically the first step in working with Dr. Sam. Dr. Sam can clarify your child’s diagnosis and provide recommendations in a series of 3 consultation sessions.
Psycho-Educational Assessment
Psychoeducational evaluations can help identify the presence of specific learning disorders, ADHD, gifted ability, and school-based behavioral concerns.
Dr. Sam will help identify any learning needs your child or adolescent may have. Subsequent consultation sessions will provide recommendations for potential school accommodations.
Cognitive Ability (IQ) Testing
The cognitive evaluation provides an estimate of cognitive ability and intellectual functioning (IQ), and is often required for the independent school admissions process. Dr. Sam utilizes the Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-IV) and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V).
